To use, simply push your thermometer through the rubber seal from above, which will punch a hole in it to match your thermometer. Screwing in the cap will compress the seal around your themometer/thermocouple. This adapter has a 29/32 ground joint. 100g shipping weight. This adapter has an inner glass tube at the bottom joint, which is a great improvement over standard vacuum adapters. This is because with a standard adapter, your gaseous product may not have all condensed yet, so vapours will be sucked out the vacuum. With this adapter, there is extra time for vapours to condense without being sucked out, resulting in higher yields. Does not have to be used with vacuum, works fine without. Both joints are 29/32.
